Donated to Ukrainian Refugee Children

In 2022, our Ukraine Impact Project was a student-led sustainability initiative dedicated to supporting Ukrainian refugee children. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we successfully raised awareness and $7,140.00 USD for these vulnerable children who were fleeing the violence and destruction of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

We initially launched our GoFundMe campaign to support these children, with all proceeds going directly to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Through our partnership with UNICEF USA, we were able to ensure that donations were distributed effectively to provide immediate relief. Here’s how the funds were allocated:

  1. 90% of the donations went directly to urgent relief efforts in Ukraine.

  2. 7% went toward essential fundraising activities to continue the support.

  3. 3% helped cover the administrative costs of running the campaign.

The funds raised through our campaign were critical in providing these refugee children with essential resources, including food, clean water, clothing, medical supplies, and safe sleeping arrangements.

While our GoFundMe campaign has now concluded, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all who contributed. Your support has made a direct impact on the lives of many displaced children, giving them hope for a better future. Please continue to share the message of urgency for these children, and let us all keep working together to ensure that no child is left behind in times of crisis.
